* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Monroe County in south central Indiana... Sullivan County in southwestern Indiana... Southern Brown County in south central Indiana... Northern Knox County in southwestern Indiana... Martin County in southwestern Indiana... Greene County in southwestern Indiana... Lawrence County in south central Indiana... Western Jackson County in south central Indiana... Daviess County in southwestern Indiana...

* Until 715 AM EDT.

* At 409 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bloomington, Vincennes, Bedford, Washington, Linton, Sullivan, Bloomfield, Shoals, Mitchell, Bicknell, Loogootee, Jasonville, Worthington, Odon, Oolitic, Dugger, Lyons, Medora, Carlisle and Elnora.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

...A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT PARTS OF SOUTHERN HARRISON... SOUTHEASTERN CLARK...CENTRAL FLOYD...NORTHWESTERN SPENCER... OLDHAM...NORTHWESTERN SHELBY...MEADE...SOUTHWESTERN HENRY... JEFFERSON...NORTH CENTRAL HARDIN AND NORTHERN BULLITT COUNTIES... At 614 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line from near Prospect to near St. Dennis to 8 miles northwest of Brandenburg. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible with the strongest storms. Expect heavy rainfall and lightning as well with all storms. Locations impacted include... Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively, Shelbyville, Shepherdsville, Lyndon and La Grange.

* Until 630 AM CDT.

* At 323 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one and a half inches of rain have already fallen in the past hour. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Vincennes, Olney, Flora, Lawrenceville, Sumner, Louisville, Clay City, St. Francisville, Noble, Xenia, Parkersburg, Claremont, Calhoun, Iola, Sailor Springs, Russellville, Chauncey, Ingraham, Birds and Schnell. Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the warned area.
