FDA authorizes Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine for children 5 to 11

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - The Vigo County Health Department announced two upcoming mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

The health department says both clinics will only offer the shot - and not testing of any kind.

They both take place at the Ivy Tech Center for Workforce Development on the county's south side, this is a little further south than the school's main campus.

The first one is scheduled for December 7 and 8, and the second is set for January 3 and 4. Both events will start at 9 A.M. and last through 6 P.M.

The clinics will offer the normal Pfizer vaccine for kids 12 and up and the pediatric Pfizer vaccine for kids ages five to 11.

Booster shots will be available for everyone ages 18 and over.
