indiana state university is getting a head-start on celebrating earth day! and... students are hoping to make an environmental difference! today the university hosted its annual earth day celebration. more than 50 businesses and organizations were there with food, activities, and information. a big student-effort is pledging to rid campus of plastic straws. organizers say it's one way students are putting sustainability-knowledge to use. we hope the students are having fun outside as we welcome the summer, saying it's cool to be outside.. and that's why we gotta keep it like this. people around the world will observe next monday as earth day! we've linked you to ways "you" can help... head over
