new for you tonight at 6... people in the wabash valley are taking on serious issues to make a strong.. and safer community. the united way is hoping to use your feedback to improve the community. a series of sub-committees will focus on certain areas of concern. today, the organization started sharing ideas about issues... and how the sub-committees can help. groups being formed now will focus on blight.. graduation rates.. health.. and financial struggles. there are other groups on substance abuse.. and early education. so we really want the community to be making decisions on what we should invest in. it shouldn't be a bunch of board members sitting in a room, so we want input from the community. all of the groups are helping work toward the goal of moving 10-thousand families into financial stability. we've put information about getting involved on our
