a local family is speaking out after police say a man broke into their home...then interacted with their 5 year old son. news 10 sat down with that family after finding out that man could go through a drug treatment program. at 5 we told you jason cunningham was in court this morning. cunningham faces charges of "burglary"... "residential entry" and "theft." now a judge is looking to "make" him get treatment. today news 10's jordan kudisch sat down with the family whose home was broken into. she shares how they're feeling about the judge's decision. i spoke with the family when the incident first happened in february. they say they've been at every court appearance for cunningham... at the first hearing cunningham said he was on drugs at the time of the home invasion. he was to be evaluted for a jail linkage program. that's a program for drug rehab. several treatment facilities were mentioned.. but nothing was set in stone. i spoke with the family today to see their thoughts on a treatment program. jim coleman was home at the time of the invasion. he says cunningham needs rehabilition after what the family believes he did.
