Susan Dinkel joined the WTHI team in October 1995. She is News Director and 5 p.m. Anchor for WTHI-TV and MyFOX10. Susan began her career as a General Assignments Reporter.
Susan’s work has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Ohio Valley Chapter with several Regional Emmy awards and nominations. Her work has also been acknowledged by the Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, Indiana Broadcasters Association and the Indiana State Teachers Association.
Susan serves as the Indiana Vice President on the Board of Governors for the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She’s also the 2014-15 President for the Indiana Associated Press Broadcast Association Board.
Susan graduated from DePauw University. She was born and raised in Terre Haute, where she resides with her husband and two daughters. She is very active in her community and with her church, St. Benedict Catholic Church.
