Eric Stidman

Eric Stidman is no stranger to the wander! In fact, he’s done a little bit of everything at News 10. Eric serves as the morning weather anchor for News 10 This Morning, a position he accepted in February 2016. Stidman joined the WTHI-TV family in May of 2012 as a producer. From there, he quickly climbed the ranks to executive producer and later accepted his first on-air bid as the station’s Southern Bureau Chief Reporter.

From there, he quickly climbed the ranks to executive producer and later accepted his first on-air bid as the station’s Southern Bureau Chief Reporter.

Prior to joining the News 10 team Eric worked for KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In that role he worked as a producer, and special show producer. He also worked as an associate producer at WEHT-TV in Henderson, Kentucky.

Eric has long called the Wabash Valley home graduating from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in 2004. He’s a two-time graduate of Vincennes University, holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bellevue University and in May 2016, graduated with a master’s degree in communications from Purdue University’s Brian Lamb School of Communication. Eric is a proud member of the National Weather Association and is studying now for his meteorology certification.
