TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute South boys' basketball team opened its 2017 campaign with a victory. The Braves defeated Cloverdale 93-65 to start with a 1-0 record.

De'Avion Washington led South in scoring with 24 points.

Cloverdale senior Jalen Moore contributed 42 points in the loss.
