ISU baseball sweeps Citadel

Indiana State is off to the best start in program history. With the weekend victories, the Sycamores are 16-1 on the season.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana State baseball continued its great start to the season with a series sweep of the Citadel Saturday and Sunday at Bob Warn Field. The Sycamores claimed the third game of the series 8-0.

Tyler Whitbread got the win on the mound for ISU. He threw 7.0 scoreless innings and 7 strikeouts in the win.

Indiana State is off to the best start in program history. With the weekend victories, the Sycamores are 16-1 on the season.
