Edgewood falls in 2OT thriller

Lebanon sneaks past Edgewood, 59-56.

GREENCASTLE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Edgewood Mustangs were on the short end of an upset in the class 3A regional semifinal at Greencastle. Lebanon, which entered the state tournament with an 8-15 record, stunned Edgewood in double overtime. The Tigers won 59-56.

Lebanon senior Jaylen Washington forced the first overtime period with a late three-pointer that got a great bounce.

Edgewood senior Chayton Howard took the ball coast-to-coast late in the overtime to tie the game again and force a second extra segment.
