VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week and some Vigo County schools are celebrating with special projects.
Murals in restrooms at West Vigo High School that each have a positive message.

Students selected quotes and made designs for them. Then, they brought their ideas to life for others to enjoy.
The idea is to give students and staff some uplifting inspiration.
“We forget when we're so busy that little boost, that little compliment or that word of encouragement makes a difference to somebody,” said Sara Laughlin, teacher at West Vigo High School.
Some students also posted encouraging messages in other places like notes on lockers.
The group hopes to create more artwork in the school.
