VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Vigo County officials are working to fix a ballot issue in the county.
It caused leaders to hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday night.
A candidate's name was misspelled on the ballots.
Dr. Woody Myers is the Democratic candidate for Indiana governor. On the ballot, his name has an extra E.
We learned the error was a vendor issue, possibly caused by a computer auto-correct.
Election leaders say they are fixing the ballot for future voters.
Votes that have already been cast for Myers will still count.
He is running against Republican incumbent Eric Holcomb and Libertarian Donald Rainwater.
