VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Local Marines are dedicated to making sure families have a great holiday this year.

It's all for their annual Toys for Tots campaign and on Tuesday the volunteer Marines visited Toys R' Us in Terre Haute.

They were filling up their carts as full as they could with toys to kick off their shopping spree.

But right now, they need your help to reach their goal.

Last year they gave back to just under 1,000 families in the Wabash Valley. This year, they're expecting to help more.

"We do have a little bit of toys starting to come in right now but this is what helps us after the initial registration, to really start filling in the needs of the community," explained Toys for Tots Coordinator, Andrew Smith.

There are several drop off locations across the Wabash Valley just click here to view them all!
