CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ill. (WTHI) - Three people are dead after an early-morning crash in Crawford County.
It happened just before 1:30 am on Highway 33 in Palestine.
According to Illinois State Police, 21-year-old Skyler Williams, from Lawrenceville, was driving eastbound when he left the road while on a curve and hit a pole.
Two passengers in the car were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected.
One of the two ejected was a 13-year-old boy from Vincennes and the other was identified as 20-year-old Kodey Burns from Robinson.
Williams, Burns, and the teenager were killed in the crash.
Another passenger in the car, 23-year-old Morgan Wells, from Loogootee was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
