The search continues for a Vigo County 911 director

Vigo County is still searching for a 911 director.

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Vigo County is still searching for a 911 director.

Rob McMullen suddenly left that position a few months ago.

Vickie Oster took over as the interim director.

She told us applications for the open position are being taken right now.

She told us Vigo County Commissioners are going over applications and will hopefully hire someone soon.
