Terre Haute home destroyed by overnight fire

Firefighters found flames and heavy smoke coming from the rear and second floor

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Investigators are looking into the cause of an overnight fire.

It happened just after 12:30 Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to 2955 South 8th Street, near Margaret in Terre Haute.

Firefighters tell News 10 nobody was inside the home.

Crews found flames and heavy smoke coming from the rear and second story. They do not believe the fire was suspicious. 

The home is a total loss.
