TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Children in need in Vigo County will have new shoes and socks this winter.

Academy Sports and Outdoors donated a gift card for $1,500 to the Terre Haute Women's Club Shoe Bus on Thursday.

It's money that'll be used to buy brand new shoes and socks for kids.

When we caught up with the Shoe Bus crew, they were fitting some students at Sugar Grove Elementary School.
