ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Rockville Police Department is warning people after a series of animal complaints.

The Department shared on its Facebook page it got three complaints Saturday about stray dogs on the loose.

One complaint resulted in a woman being bit. Another resulted in a dog that tried to bite 4 different people, including the mailman and an officer who tried to catch the dog.

Police want to remind you that it's illegal to let your dog wander from your property unattended.

They ask that all pet owners take responsibility and keep their animals restrained.
