SHELBURN, Ind. (WTHI) - A local fire department is getting closer to moving into its new headquarters.

We're talking about the Thunderbird Fire Protection Territory in Shelburn.

Demo of the old firehouse took place in late December.

If you pass by the structure, you'll see the outside of the building is coming together quite nicely.

News 10 spoke with Fire Chief John Quilliam. He estimates at least 3 more weeks of work.

That's because the inside still needs a lot of work, including pouring the concrete.
