Police release more details surrounding double fatal crash in Daviess County

We have more information a crash that left two people dead in Daviess County.

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - We have more information a crash that left two people dead in Daviess County.

The crash happened on Monday at the U.S. 150 and State Road 57 intersection.

That crash killed Marilyn Matts and 16-year-old Kaitlyn Mattes.

Police have determined what happened that led to the crash.

They say video surveillance shows Marilyn Matts ran a red light and hit a semi being driven by Brett Ramsey.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
