TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Two people will face charges in connection to a Friday afternoon shooting in Terre Haute.
Police responded to reports of a shooting near 15th and Walnut Streets. According to police, the shooting victim received non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested 17-year-old Javier Jamerson and 18-year-old Damien Swinson, both of Terre Haute.
Both men are facing charges of aggravated battery, robbery, and resisting law enforcement. Jamerson faces an additional charge of pointing a firearm.
Bill Riley, the Communications Director with the Vigo County School Corporation, told us Davis Park Elementary School was on lock-out, but it has since been lifted.
