TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Thursday was Pi Day, as in the math term...3.14.

The Terre Haute community celebrated the community by giving.

All day long people were donating to the United Way for the Stronger United Challenge.

People that donated more than $100 received a pie.

We caught volunteers giving Sheriff John Plasse his pie...right in the face.

It could take a few days before the organizers know a final total.
