VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - Protesters started gathering in Vincennes on Tuesday evening.
Around 400 people gathered on 2nd Street to protest after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis just over a week ago.
People began gathering just after 5:00 p.m. It was then followed by a march down Main Street.

Everything appeared to remain peaceful.
"We're tired. We are tired of the injustices that are being committed by a few groups of people," DeAngelo Ivory told us.
Both the city's mayor and police chief showed up to show their support for a peaceful protest.
Event organizers say they only began planning the protest around 24-hours ago.
