Police identify person killed in Knox County crash

News 10 has learned two people were also hurt in the crash - of those two, one was airlifted to an out of area hospital.

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - We now know the identity of the person killed in a Knox County crash.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 1:30 Friday afternoon at US Highway 50 and Robinson Road. That is just east of Vincennes.

It involved an SUV and a car.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says 79-year-old Janice Richter, a passenger in one of the vehicles was killed.

Richter was a native of Edwardsport, Indiana.

Two other people were hospitalized in the crash.
