JASPER COUNTY, Ill. (WTHI) - Illinois State Police reports one person was arrested and injuries were reported after an accident in Jasper County on Sunday.
The accident happened around 2:20 a.m. (CT) on County Road 1400N just two miles west of Hunt City.
ISP reports a 2004 Ford truck was heading east on CR 1400N when the truck left the road on the left hand side, overcorrected and then flipped several times before landing upside down.
The driver was identified as Keri Wittgan, 36 of Willow Hill. She was arrested for driving under the influence, failure to wear seatbelt, no valid insurance and driving on the wrong side of roadway.
Wittgan and two passengers were transported for injuries.
One of those passengers, Eugene Birch, 30 of Newton, was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.
