VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Area families will have a brighter holiday thanks to a fraternity.
The Pi Kappa Alpha at Indiana State University dropped off donations at the Christmas Store on Wednesday.

It's through Catholic Charities. The fraternity men donated clothes and toys to the store.
About 900 families will be able to take these items to put under the tree.
“A lot of the brothers have a good holiday, good holiday experiences,” said David Peterson, President of the fraternity. “And we know people just a couple of blocks away from us don't have that experience.”
Money for the donations came from the PIKEs for Change event in the fall.
It involved sleeping in boxes where they raised about $62,000.
