ISU gets a headstart on Earth Day celebrations

Indiana State University is getting a head-start on celebrating Earth Day.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana State University is getting a head-start on celebrating Earth Day.

On Wednesday, the university hosted its annual Earth Day Celebration.

More than 50 businesses and organizations were there with food, activities, and information.

They promoted sustainability and efforts for clean water, air, and land.

People around the world will observe next Monday as Earth Day.
