TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Music transcends all cultural boundaries and that's what one group of musicians illustrated on Wednesday as part of a special concert.

Musicians from around the world visited Indiana State University.

They took part in the "International Music and Culture Festival".

It showcased musical traditions from places like China, Hungary, and the United States.

Organizers say music is important because it helps people find common ground.

The university teamed up with Arts Iliana to make the concert happen.
