TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute Humane Society is asking for community support after a small fire.

That's after an incident in the building's laundry room, Friday.

The society say its thankful the fire was contained to such a small space. It says it did ultimately lose one of its dryers.

Now, THHS is asking for your help. It's in need of towels and sheets for the animals and staff to use for cleaning.

If you're able to, you can take donations to the Terre Haute Humane Society on Fruitridge Avenue.
