VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - For weeks, you at home have been nominating first responders who go above and beyond the call of duty.

On Thursday, we had the chance to honor Nick Hall.

Nick is a man with many titles.

Vermillion County Sheriff Deputy, K9 handler of Zeus, EMT, and School Resource Officer.

Nick says serving Vermillion County is a humbling experience that he does not take for granted.

"It makes me know that we are not going unrecognized out there and that what we are doing is actually making a difference and they are seeing what we're doing and that makes me happy and I'm going to continue to do what I do," Nick said.
