Greene County woman dead after vehicle exhaust catches foilage on fire

One person is dead after an accident in Greene County.

BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (WTHI) - One person is dead after an accident in Greene County.

It happened on Thursday on Corwin Road in Bloomfield.

Police say 67-year-old Elizabeth Spears was driving a Hummer H3 when it went east of road's shoulder, getting stuck.

They believe the vehicle's exhaust lit foliage on fire underneath.

Spears was killed in that fire.
