TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local brewing company took on a good cause on Friday night.
The Terre Haute Brewing Company hosted "Howl for Music Therapy".
It's a fundraiser that benefits the Union Health Foundation.
Howl at the Moon musicians performed during the fundraiser.
Union Health is working on hiring a full-time music therapist.
Organizers say it would be a great help to patients.
"Music therapy is a service that's been known to help with pain management, cognitive development, motor development there's a myriad of good medical reasons that it can help people and its not available in our community," Kelly Walker said.
Organizers hope to raise enough money to pay for music therapy for the next five years.
