WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Crews worked to put out a fire in West Terre Haute on Monday evening.
It started just before 7:30 at a home on North Lockhart place.

When fire crews arrived, they found flames shooting through the roof.
Fire officials say nobody lived in the home when the fire started.
According to neighbors, the previous residents moved out about two weeks ago.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
The cause is under investigation.
