TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) -- Hundreds of people packed inside an exhibit hall at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds Sunday for a community Easter egg hunt.

Tons of families avoided the rain and got in on the fun.

There were a few rounds of Easter egg hunts.

Kids also walked away with more than 1,500 prizes ranging from small toys to stuffed animals, to bikes!

Organizers of the annual event say it's a great way to slow down and spend quality time with the family.
