Death investigation underway in Sullivan County

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A death investigation is underway in Sullivan County.

News 10 spoke with Sheriff Clark Cottom.

Cottom says it happened in Merom, Indiana. 

Officials say a truck left a roadway and caught fire. Cottom confirmed there was a body inside. 

Cottom says the identification of the victim is pending due to autopsy results. 

The investigation is ongoing.

At this time, officials do not suspect foul play. 

We're expecting more information to be released soon.
