PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Five people were rescued after rushing water took over their ATV.

It happened on Sunday afternoon on County Road 100 North at State Sanatorium Covered Bridge.

Authorities say two adults and three juveniles were all on an ATV when it was swept off by fast-moving water.

The adults were identified as 61-year-old Jeffrey Riddle and 25-year-old Mari Riddle - both of Rockville.

All were rescued by Indiana Conservation Officers, who were forced to use an airboat to reach the victims.

No injuries were reported.
