Crews battle multiple brush fires in West Terre Haute

Wind may have played a factor in containing two brush fires on Friday.

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Wind may have played a factor in containing two brush fires on Friday.

Firefighters responded to several scenes throughout the day.

One of those scenes was on Tumnus Trail in West Terre Haute.

Tha's near Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Crews were on the scene trying to keep the fire under control.

Authorities told News 10 getting crews to the right places was difficult because of the many brush fires.
