TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Vigo County's Capital Improvement Board took a major step towards getting a convention center built in downtown Terre Haute.
Construction for the project will be put to bid at the board's next meeting.
That will take place on March 20th.
One board member told News 10 utility relocation will start in May.
Some of those utilities are located underneath the recently vacated portion of 8th Street.
Construction of the convention center will begin in June.
