SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTHI) - Sullivan will not open its city pool for the summer.

That decision comes after a park board meeting Tuesday night.

We've told you about the pool and how it was in need of upgrades, for health concerns. Tuesday night, Board President Ellen Tucker said those repairs would have cost at least $100,000.

Even then, they'd only be able open the pool for this year only.

Members of the community may step in to decide how to address the pool situation in the future.
