Car gets stuck in water near Vermillion county Line

A driver got their car stuck in flood waters in Vigo County Monday morning and Indiana State Police are reminding drivers to not endanger yourself or them.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind (WTHI) - A driver got their car stuck in flood waters in Vigo County Monday morning and Indiana State Police are reminding drivers to not endanger yourself or them.


Take a look at the video, Indiana State Police, Sergeant Joe Watts shared these photos with News 10.

Watts says around 7:30 Monday morning several emergency crews responded to a vehicle in the water."

The car got stuck on north Shirley street near the Vermillion county line.

Thankfully, the driver was able to get out safely.

Watts reminds drivers "Don't drown, turn around."
