Best in ISU music showcase talent in annual concert

ISU held their annual President's Concert Sunday night.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The sounds of music continued at Indiana State University this weekend. 

ISU held their annual President's Concert Sunday night.

It's a recital that highlights and honors the School of Music's best student performers. All types of music, including string, woodwind and singing, were featured.

"Highlights our school of music from woodwinds, to brass, to percussion, to voice," said Dr. Scott Buchanan, "So it's a very diverse concert."

This year's event was even more memorable. That's as the new university president, Dr. Deborah Curtis, was in attendance.
