American Legion in Rosedale holds flag retirement ceremony

The American Legion in Rosedale collected old and tattered American flags.

ROSEDALE, Ind. (WTHI) - A special flag ceremony was held on Friday in Parke County.

The American Legion in Rosedale collected old and tattered American flags.

Those flags were then disposed of with a proper retirement ceremony.

Those in charge say it's important to show respect to "Old Glory."
