TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local blessing box is here to stay.
That's after MSI Construction donated concrete to ensure the boxes stay upright.
We told you about the Blessing Box in northern Terre Haute in the past.
It is located near the Otter Creek Bridge.
The purpose of the box is to provide items like hygiene products and canned food for those in need.
A few months ago, Mother Nature took down the boxes.
The wind was so strong they were destroyed.
Now, MSI Construction hopes that by laying down concrete...the boxes won't hit the ground again.
"It's something that is deep in my heart, about giving back to the community...so what she's doing. This is just a small token of our appreciation for what she's doing," MSI owner Tony Major said.
