TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A welcoming place for college students celebrates their time in the community.

United Campus Ministries serves five different campuses, including Indiana State University.

To celebrate 70 years, the ministry showed off its history and their newly renovated building with ISU students and staff.

The ministry includes not only worship services for students, but recreational activities as well.

"They come here and it means something to them for this place to be here for them," said Betsy Hine, Board Chair, "and we are totally open."

United Campus Ministries invites students from the Wabash Valley to visit their location. Ministry leaders say they always have open arms for students.
