TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Vigo County Democratic Caucus is set to start at 5 p.m. as six people are up for consideration.
The winner will fill the seat left vacant when Kathy Chalos-Miller resigned earlier this month.
25 precinct committee members will decide who the next Third District Council person will be. Party Chairman Joe Etling says the person with majority votes will win.
If there is not a majority, the person will the least number of votes will be out of the race and voting will continue round after round until there is a majority.
The six up for consideration are Vicki Weger, George Reedy, C Dwayne Malone, Lisa Spence, Christopher Shober and Keith Linville.
