Man arrested on drug charges while officers were serving separate warrant

A man from Lewis was arrested Thursday night in Vigo County while officers were serving a warrant on a separate individual.

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A man from Lewis was arrested Thursday night in Vigo County while officers were serving a warrant on a separate individual. 

Officers were serving a warrant on Steve Ferree, who was wanted for theft, fraud and exploitation of a dependent. 

While officers were there, they found cash and drugs on a subject who identified himself as Ferree's brother. 

Joseph Wilson, 54 of Lewis, was found with a large amount of cash as well as pills and methamphetamine. 

He was arrested and taken to the Vigo County Jail. His bond was set at $50,000 and he will be back in court next week.
