VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - The Vigo County Park's Department is continuing the tedious process of cleaning up after a fire at the Fowler Park cabin.

A department spokesman says they're hopeful the rebuild will be complete in time for Pioneer Days next summer.

Now, they're looking for any artifacts that can be salvaged.

The department is seeking out other cabins that could be relocated to the site in an effort to preserve history.

The cabin will be rebuilt with new lumber if an existing cabin cannot be moved.
