ISU guest speaker honors Jamal Khashoggi

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana State University received a special guest on Tuesday.

The school welcomed journalist David Ignatius.

Ignatius gave a special presentation to the public that honored ISU grad and journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Khashoggi died last year in Turkey at the Saudi consulate.

Authorities believe Khashoggi had been critical of Saudi Arabia's politics.

Ignatius talked about Khashoggi's life and how he found a certain type of freedom here in the U.S.

The presentation happened thanks to the ISU Speaker series.
