INDIANAPIOLIS, Ind. (WTHI) - It was an honor to see one of News 10’s former employees inducted into the Indiana Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame Thursday night.
Vicki Weger ran News 10’s Assignments Desk and was Managing Editor for many years.
Susan Dinkel, Patrece Dayton, Kevin Orpurt and Vicki's friends and family were all there to see her accept her award.
The hall of fame also honored Sammy Terry who passed away this past summer and Donald Davidson, the historian of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
He is probably known best for his radio program, ‘The talk of Gasoline Alley.’
UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
The Washington Police Department responded Friday around 2 a.m. to a complaint of a male subject being shot. The incident happened on Oak Grove Road in Washington near Ebenezer Baptist Church.
