VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - A former Wabash Valley resident was arrested Friday for a 2009 child homicide.
Krista Brown-Bailey, 29 formerly of Vincennes and Lawrence County, Illinois, was arrested Friday evening in Ohio on a warrant out of Vincennes.
Vincennes Police say in May of 2009 a child in Brown-Bailey’s care was found unresponsive. The child could not be revived and a criminal investigation ruled the death was a homicide.
Brown-Bailey is accused of battery resulting in the death of her then 17-month old son.
She is being held in an Ohio jail pending extradition back to Knox County.
